03/16-03/19 Hutchinson River Parkway & Cross County Parkway Closures & EXIT 10 will be Closed3/16/2018 On Friday, March 16th at 11:00 p.m. until Monday, March 19th at 5:00 a.m., the NYS DOT will be replacing the 3rd Street Bridge that connects the City of Mt. Vernon and the Village of Pelham. In order to facilitate the closing of the bridge, the NYS DOT will be closing the Hutchinson River Parkway to all traffic BOTH SOUTHBOUND AND NORTHBOUND. The SOUNTHBOUND closure is from the Hutchinson River Parkway/Cross County Parkway interchange in Eastchester to Sanford Blvd. in Mt. Vernon. The ramp to exit 10 (Labelle Road/New Rochelle Road) on the Cross County Parkway will be closed for the duration of the project. Alternate route will be exit 17 on the Hutchinson River Parkway (North Avenue/Mill Road). Northbound traffic for the Hutchinson River Parkway will be diverted at the I-95 exit in the Bronx and will not be allowed to re-enter the parkway until the Sparks Avenue entrance in Pelham.
