Monday, November 27: The Bronxville Public Library will be presenting a lecture at 5:30 pm by John Crichton, the 7th Earl Erne, about Crom Castle, a home in Northern Ireland designed in Tudor Revival style featuring beautiful Gothic Revival archways and stained glass, which he inherited and his family still occupies. 3 Upcoming Town Board Meetings | HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT REPORT from the 10/17/17 Town Meeting: Hector DiLeo, Superintendent of the Highway Department, reported two trucks are currently assigned to ‘leaf pick-up’ with additional trucks dispatched as needed. Supervisor Colavita reminded residents to rake leaves into a pile on the grass, near the curb – not in the street. |

At the CHCA general meeting on Tuesday, Mario announced that he will be stepping down as Vice President effective January 1, 2018.
Thank you Mario for all of your work and dedication to this group! You have helped to keep this group going and to bring it to new heights. We look forward to working with you in other capacities.
Turnover in the board is a positive thing! It allows room for others to step forward, volunteer and offer new ideas! If you have some great ideas and would like to apply for this position or any other position, we would love to have you in one capacity or another, please email.
The December 5th Capital Project Bond Vote is fast approaching! Please note that voter registration will close on November 20. Information about the project including absentee ballot deadlines, tax calculator and more can be accessed here. There will be two more opportunities for Q&A on November 28 and November 29 (incl. tour). From Principal Cuglietto & VP Kilgallen: In approximately three weeks our community will have the opportunity to vote on a school bond that, if approved, will change the footprint and capabilities of our schools. To address the overcrowding experienced at our elementary school, if approved, the bond project will add a second floor of classrooms to William E. Cottle Elementary School, renovate and expand both the cafeteria and library, add a STEAM classroom, make security upgrades to the entries, renovate bathrooms, renovate the existing gymnasium and make upgrades to the playfield. In addition, the proposed project will renovate the library and cafeteria of the High School/Middle School. The proposed project will also include district-wide infrastructure improvements. |
