Happily, tulips, daffodils, azaleas and other spring blossoms are bursting forth adding a splash of welcome spring color. EBF needs your help to awaken Eastchester’s cheerful gardens. Each year, contributions from generous community members like you enable our highly committed board to plant colorful flowers, shrubs and greenery in Eastchester. This year: · We hope to replace struggling trees and shrubs, and add annual and perennial flowers around town and at Town Center. · We are helping to restore public spaces – currently we are working at the Oakridge “Gazebo” Park across from Town hall. · Once again, we will sponsor and maintain hanging flower baskets that will soon adorn the light posts along Mill Road and at the Eastchester Library. · This fall, we plan to “paint the town” with mums, pansies and cabbage plants once more. Each year we rely on donations from individuals like you as well as local businesses to fund the flower baskets and the hundreds of daffodil bulbs and other perennials and annuals that we plant throughout town. Local funding has also enabled us to place benches in the library park area and purchase planters and colorful spring and autumn banners for the town. Join EBF by making a donation today. Help us keep Eastchester looking beautiful today, tomorrow and always. Our contribution form is attached - or you can go to our website (ebfgrows.org) and pay using a credit card via PayPal (you do not need to have or open a Paypal account.)
