by October 30th. Town Of Eastchester Elections Town Supervisor The candidates for Eastchester Town Supervisor are Anthony S. Colavita (Rep, Con, I) and Michael P. Denning (Democrat). Colavita is the current Eastchester Town Supervisor. He is a graduate of Colgate University and Pace University Law School. He also served as a Town Board member and has been part of several civic and community organizations. Term: 2 years Salary: $98,093 Voters will choose one Town Supervisor. Town Council The candidates for Eastchester Town Council are Glenn D. Bellitto and Joseph D. Dooley (both Rep, Con, I). Term: 4 years Salary: $15,831 Voters will choose two Town Council representatives. Town Clerk The candidate for Town Clerk is Linda Doherty Laid (Rep, Con, I). Term: 4 years Salary: $87,605 She is running unopposed. Town Justice The candidates for Town Justice are Janet R. Calano and Frederick Salanitro (both Rep, Con, I). Term: 4 years Salary: $42,545 Voters will choose two Town Justices. Receiver of Taxes The candidate for Receiver of Taxes is Rocco N. Cacciola (Rep, Con I). Term: 4 years Salary: $35,000 He is running unopposed. Westchester County Legislature District 10 District 10: Eastchester, part of New Rochelle, Tuckahoe. Term: 2 years Salary: $49,200 Base Duties: Among the duties of each County Legislator is to enact laws dealing with the County and its residents; to adopt an annual budget and to levy taxes; to determine the structure of County Government and the number of County employees and their salaries; and to initiate new projects and programs as the need arises. There are 17 County Districts. Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is back and ready to serve up a brand-new lineup of local menus, ingredients and flavors.
This biannual two-week event, which was started in 2006 by The Valley Table magazine, helps to promote all aspects of the local food scene. From chefs and farmers to artisanal producers, purveyors and more, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is among the largest Restaurant Weeks in the country with more than 200 eateries showcasing the best of their cuisine. Each restaurant participating in HVRW will offer special three-course prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus between Monday, Nov. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 17 for the promotional prices of $22.95 (lunch) and $32.95 (dinner). The Senior Class will be selling T-shirts as a fundraiser for Veterans Month. 10% of the profits will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project! Cash or check accepted (checks payable to Tuckahoe Union Free School District).
