![]() On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, the Tuckahoe UFSD community will be asked to consider a $20,531,500 bond proposal to fund a capital project plan. The proposition, if approved, would address the district’s current facility needs and educational goals: Growing Enrollment, 21st Century Learning, Infrastructure and Security Upgrades. Highlights of the plan include: -addition of eight new classrooms and complete renovation/expansion of the existing gymnasium at WEC to meet the demands of increased enrollment -renovation of the libraries and cafeterias in WEC and TMS/THS -replacement of the TMS/THS turf athletic field and installation of a new grass play field at WEC If passed, this referendum would result in an estimated $612/year increase for a typical home with an assessed value of $8,500. Additional opportunities for residents to learn more and ask questions will be communicated shortly. Click here for the capital project section of the TUFSD website.
