The Society’s Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, June 9th at 2:00 pm at the library behind Marble Schoolhouse.
Agenda: 1. Brief Introduction & Update 2. Board Elections 3. Guest speaker Pat Jordan who will portray Carrie Chapman Catt,a key figure in the passing of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting women the right to vote. She also founded the League of Women Voters. Light refreshments Free and open to the public All welcome but due to limited seating, please RSVP by replying to this email. To commemorate the passing of the 19th Amendment, we will be selling “Votes for Women” sashes and pins for $20.00. Let us know if you would like us to reserve one for you!
