Thanks to a concerned neighbor, Joy, together with the Town & the Highway Department, CVS will add the parking lot cleanup to their regular maintenance schedule. It has become a dumping ground for garbage and pet waste. (Hopefully, none of the Chester Heights residents are contributing to the mess.)
Once again, the Town & the Highway Department are extremely responsive to Chester Heights issues.

Thank you, CHCA for posting this. And, MANY, MANY THANKS to Carlo Valente & our fabulous Hwy. Dept. for the quick clean-up of the most recent trash bags, etc. that were left in the CVS parking lot facing Pkwy. Plz.

I’d be interested to know why CVS was not fined and required to clean up the mess.

To my knowledge, CVS did clean up the MESS previously that was behind the fenced in area of the parking lot facing Lockwood Ave. I could be mistaken though. I have been communicating with the Town via emails regarding this (& the offensive graffiti from last winter) for months now. Carlo Valente & Margaret Uhle have been very responsive & have taken care of the situation when they were notified. Who EXACTLY cleaned it up, I couldn't say. I'm just glad it's been handled.
